Hand Washing Can Save A Life.

While working at a local hospital I had a patient grab me unexpectedly and broke a bone in my wrist. As I healed I obviously couldn't work with the complex care patients on my unit so I spent six weeks wandering the hospital reminding people to wash their hands. It made for really long days. Many looked at me as if I was an idiot for pointing out the obvious. We all wash our hands right?? But if you knew how often infections and germs are spread in a hospital setting you would see the need for such protocol.
